  Advertising CSP 1: OMO print advert : 1) The ad was produced in 1950s 2) Women are shown as objects and slaves in the 1950s. Women were expected to show respect to their husbands as if men have more power and were stronger than girls 3) The slogan tells us that it can guarantee clean clothing from your washing 4) The convention in the advert such as make-up, clothing, expression etc, shows that women have a role in cleaning and cooking 5) The product is in the bottom right because they want women to be the main part of the advert since they are shown as slaves and underpowered. 6) red, white, blue - this links to the British flag as the ad was made 30 years ago. 7) The anchorage text on the advert persuades the audience to buy the product by using eye-catching words, making them believe that the product is useful and worth the money 8) There are lots of stereotypes to women in the OMO advert, such as women are supposed to clean and women are supposed to wear make-up and smile brightl

  Advertising and Marketing: Key conventions skittles advert analysis (1) 1)   Picture of the product to remind us what type of product it is. The image also reinforces the word 'taste' as the skitles are shaped in a rainbow 2) The logo is immaculate and large in the centre of the advert . The word 'taste' relates to the product's flavour and the word 'rainbow' relates to the skittle being fun and joyful.
