- 1 January 1785 and it started using the name on 1 January 1788

- He said that he would offer foreign news and adverts but also there would be pollitics involved

- John Walter, And editorial integrity is protected by keeping high standards for media and promote essential ethical principles, such as truth, accuracy, independence, fairness, impartiality and accountability

5) What did The Times introduce in 2010 and why?

- in 2010, they introduced a paywall. This means users have to pay to see content made by the times that are restricted to people who are reading for free. it is also for people who like to read the newspaper digitally and can have it forever and read it whenever. This was made because some readers love to get ahead in the news and see if there are any wars going on or any changes to the country, they want to be ahead of information than anyone else and they would pay to do that.

- it was named Digital News Report

7) What does the section on Editorial Standards say about The Times and newspaper regulation?

- They believe that ever since the Times has been getting complaints about the newspaper regulation, The Times have not been taking the IPSO seriously and feel they can just take whatever information they can retrieve and put it in a newspaper thinking it won't be offensive to celebrities or people who are reading the newspaper of a topic say for example history, they feel that some races haven't "developed properly" and take the as an insult. The Editorial Standards believe The Times are not being cautious about what they are putting in the newspaper and believe that's the reason they have been receiving complaints about The Times explaining how they are not aware about what is going on the world and feel they are ignorant.

- Tony Gallagher is the current editor of The Times and what it says about The Times is The Times media is now part of the UK media, they feel that their news is accurate and is one of the fastest and highest selling quality of a newspaper which sells in a blink of an eye.
