The picture is shown to the buyers to review the product to see if it's their money's worth. this advert might be using preferred reading because they want to convince the buyers to purchase the product even persuading as much as they can in just one advert. they could also be using negotiated reading because they product is relevant to some of the audience like the age or gender. if it reaches a certain audience that has a specific liking. rest assured they will buy the product. finally, the team of the Mcdonald's advert could also be using oppositional reading because the advert could be lying when it says "A meal disguised as a sandwich", but you never know they could be lying about the title. maybe the are using false accusations to make some value into the product where it might show the audience it could be worthy of buying.
