2) Why is it so popular? What are the audience pleasures of the game?

It is popular because it is an action game. Fortnite is a online game that is filled with shooting and building that encourages young kids and adults to play this game. IT makes it exciting because every 6 months there would be a new season meaning a new map. This encourages gamers to play every year because they would want to see what has changed. One way is by creating new skins. Skins are characters that fortnite creates that will have diffrebnt people that can be used to play the game.

3) Why might some people criticise Fortnite?

They may not approve fortnite because it seems violent for a 12+ game that is apparently a game meant for kids. It is mostly kids who crititse the game bacsue they would normally see shooting or kids learning new swear words by meeting online people who use microphones to communicate online

i agree with “It’s created to addict, an addiction to keep you in front of a computer for as long as possible,” because children who are mostly in primary or high school are highly obbessed with the game. With one student, they were so obbessed they could'nt think straight and all they could think about is fortnite, that is why the government is trying to limit the hours of screentime
